Dessert Candle Burning Safety Guidelines

This is very important if you have children or regular guests. Do not store candles or wax melts in locations where they may be confused for food or drink. Many of our specialty candles and wax melts look like candy or food and if consumed by accident can cause serious intestinal issues. Please adhere to proper storage guidelines on warning labels.

Burn candle on a heat resistant flat surface. For candles with a whip use a plate to catch the dripping wax.

The Soy Whip used on some of our candles will burn slowly at first and the flame may appear small. This is common on our dessert candles.

If the candle self extinguishes clear any wax if necessary and re-light candle

Tunneling is common on whipped candles.

The Flames may be small at first due to air in the whip.

Soy Whip Wax build up on the glass may occur! This will even out as the base begins to burn

Sometimes embeds will fall into the wax pool which may cause the flame to go out. Allow the candle to cool and move the embed or any wax that is clogging the wick.

Extinguish the candle if the flame is too high. Allow the candle to cool and trim the wick if necessary before reusing.

Do not ever leave candles burning unattended. Burn the candle only 4 hours at a time.
